Allergen Policy
As a zero waste shop, it is inevitable that nearly all allergens are present. This could be in the product itself or traces due to manufacturing. We do everything we can to keep allergens separate within the shop and in storage, however there is still a chance of traces in an open environment and risk of cross contamination.
We use different scoops for all products and all reusable containers are sanitised using Milton. When ordering products online these will be packaged in paper bags. We keep allergens containing products separate as possible in the storeroom, however not in a self-contained area.
If you suffer from a food allergy – especially a severe allergy – we would advise you not to shop with us and instead purchase from a shop that only sells pre-sealed products.
Please note that all recipes have been pre-packed on premises that handles nuts (including peanuts), seeds, cereals, soya and products containing gluten.

Hygiene Policy
All our product dispensers/jars are filled in our shop in a hygienic environment (all utensils and containers are washed and sanitised before use).

If you bring your own containers to fill - please ensure they are cleaned thoroughly, and fit for purpose, as we cannot take responsibility after the product has left our dispensers. Containers must be completely dry before refilling as water promotes the growth of bacteria and can also reduce the shelf-life of products.
Unfortunately, products that enter a customer’s container cannot be put back into our dispensers due to the risk of cross-contamination. As a small business we therefore kindly request that you purchase anything you dispense.
We display best before dates on our products and advise customers to take note of this and transfer the information onto your own containers when refilling. For cleaning products, we also have sticker labels informing customers of all ingredients.
